Three Questions Most People Ask About
Church:
1. Since God is everywhere, why do I have to go to a
building?
God's word is very clear on not forsaking the
assembly of people. By belonging to FIC, you are given the opportunity to hear
TRUTH. No matter how much we'd like to believe that we can find this TRUTH by
ourselves, on TV, or at the beauty shop and mall, Church is where the Truth of
God's Word is spoken. Together, we can submit all our faults and problems to the
Lord.
2. Don't I have to get myself together
first? I don't want to be a hypocrite.
God is not
looking for perfect people, but people willing to be perfected.
Amen?
3. Why do you preachers always
talk about money?
When you go out to eat or shop, does
only one thought plague your mind, "All y'all want is my money"? In most
cases, the answer is no. You pay for a service or a product that you enjoy
and expect to pay, normally without complaint. Church offers what you need
and want and yet still gives you the option to pay. I believe we give you
the best deal for your money! We offer you the chance to give a small
portion of your blessings to bless others. Your seed is a practical necessity
that takes care of overhead and cost so we can continue to impact more
lives for Christ.
There is a fairly famous commercial that
says:" Membership has it priviledges" There is a lot of biblical truth to
this.

Want to accept Jesus into your heart? Say it now: "Jesus, welcome into my heart. Thank you for dying for me so that I may have everlasting life. Forgive me for things that were not pleasing to you. I need you. Welcome into my heart". Amen. Things may get a tougher while you struggle to make the right decisions. Keep talking to God, through Jesus, and be patient.
